Mid Atlantic Letterboxing

From: joneshollisjr (deaconjonesjr@verizon.net) | Date: 2007-05-08 12:15:22 UTC
I just wanted to let everyone in the mid atlantic area know... mainly
DE, Northeast MD, Southern New Jersey, and Southeastern PA; I start a
letterboxing group for us called Mid atlantic letterboxing.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/midatlanticeletterboxing

Also my family just found our first 4 boxes this past weekend. It was
great my daughter thought she was going to find a princess since that
is what the clues where talking about.

Now I just carved my first stamp and thinking of doing a series of
plants center around chess. Anyone have some advice on that?

Welcome to letterboxing.

There is actually already a very friendly, very active Mid-Atlantic
list. It can be found here:

http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/lbma

You are more then welcome to join our list.

There are a lot of us in the tri-state area. Where exactly are you at?

Also, there is a gathering in the area coming up. It is May 19 at
Washington Crossing State Park in New Jersey. Please join us if you can.

Hey Barefoot,
I did a yahoo search for it this morning and turned up empty handed. So I created it for us.

Your idea of a series of boxes around chess is a great idea. I do not of any boxes with that
theme and I think it would lend it's self well to boxing. But I would find a few more boxes
before you attempt it. There is a leaning curve that goes with planting. Most boxers first
plants go missing very quickly. I know mine did.Take some time and learn some of the
nuances of the game, then plant with abandon.
